The History and Power of Mind: Lecture Eight. Lesser Occult or Psychic Forces and Their Dangers
This chapter discusses the world that exists parallel to ours. This is not a realm of matter, but rather mental and natural forces that play out intricate lives parallel to ours. Richard warns us of the dangers of travelling into this plane of existence without adequate training as students who do attempt to, often become the victim of possession or other mental illnesses by the denizens that live there. While some of these forces can be used for our gain, he stresses that, for beginners in the art of Occultism, “the psychic realm can offer you absolutely nothing of value at this time.”
